Imodium Instants is a form of treatment for the relief of diarrhoea. These tablets can be used for 2 types of diarrhoea, short-term diarrhoea and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) diarrhoea. The active ingredient in these tablets is loperamide. Loperamide is a drug that works by slowing down bowel movements, which allows for more water to be absorbed into the body that has been lost as a result of diarrhoea.

These tablets are suitable to be used by adults and children aged 12 and over for short-term diarrhoea treatment.

HOW TO USE: For short-term relief of diarrhoea, take 2 tablets and place them on the tongue. Do not swallow them, as they will dissolve in the mouth quickly on their own. After the initial 2 tablets, take 1 tablet after each loose bowel movement. Do not take for longer than 48 hours and do not take more than 6 tablets in a 24-hour period. For IBS diarrhoea, Use the same dosages but they can be taken for up to 2 weeks. This should only be for repeated attacks only, and not one single IBS diarrhoea attack.
